I’ve just finished the Plus Size Printed Tunic (http://www.burdastyle.com/pattern_store/patterns/printed-tunic-plus-size-012013) which I thought was the perfect pattern for some cute Japanese lawn I got from one of my local chain fabric store. I really enjoyed sewing this pattern, it was really easy to make and is quite comfortable. I was very happy with the result, I don’t think I screwed anything up for once. I would still like to add some trim to the neckline to make it more interesting, and if I made it again, I think I would enlarge the arms to customise the fit a little more. I thought that with the loose design and natural fibers the garment would be great to take me from Brisbane’s sub-tropical summer to our only slightly cool autumn.
Please excuse my lack of hair styling and make up, you’re meant to look at the clothes!
