I made my own plus size adaptation of Oleku, an in-fashion Nigerian fashion style.

My wrapper is knee lenght rather than mini, though it looks much shorter in the pic as Im tall and wearing heels!

I had to add a wee bit of frills to the sleeve as I love my frills. The outfit is really quick and easy to make. I cut, made the outfit one Sunday mornibg before 9am and wore it to church.

You can make a similar outfit if you are attending a Nigerian function this summer.

Material Notes

Pink floral African print fabric – wrapper
Lilac cotton – blouse

Garment Type

Thanks for your comments, the headgear does help complete the outfit. It nice to be able to wear brighter colours. Not sure how I end up with dark colours when I go shopping.
