I love this top! The fabric is soft, stretchy and falls nicely in place when I wear it. I made it out of scrap fabric left over from a skirt that I made for my mom. I made the button loop with matching fabric. Since the fabric is soft and frays easily I cut the fabric for the loop and zig-zagged it to make it stronger. The fabric is kind of curly so it rolled itself up and I straight stitched it before attaching it to the top.
Simplicity pattern #8523, View A, 1 5/8 of fabric – soft stretch blend, thread, button, fusible interfacing.
