Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This was a fun dress to make – my friend at work had a similar one that I took a photo of with my cell phone, I then adapted a t-shirt pattern and added in cm’s for the pleats and it ended up totally different to hers but I love it anyway. The front was a bit low so I wear a vest underneath it. The pleats gave the dress its shape and I then added 2 pieces of lace with shiny jewel things down the centre like buttons ,and a tie at the back. I also added lace to the bottom of the sleeves and did a row of shearing elastic to pull them in.
