Description
This skirt was an undertaking and a half!
Way beyond my level of sewing, had to ask mum a lot of questions and in the end, I realise there were things I could’ve done differently. But that’s all part of the thrill of learning. Still happy with how it turned out though!
I found this wool for $10 at 2.5m! (usually wool in Melbourne costs around $45 per metre). I fell in love with it when I saw it, but was tight on cash that day, however mum convinced me it was worth buying it at the time :-)
I know some people will think that I should’ve ironed before taking photos, but hey, I like the messy preppy look!
Soon I will make a matching vest or jacket for the skirt (haven’t decided which yet) and a matching vest for my cat and a matching neck tie for my sisters cat!
