This dress was made using Vogue 8593. I love how comfortable it is – like wearing a t-shirt (well, a t-shirt with a belt.) I’m trying to use more knits because I love the prints, and this is my first time with interlock. My blog entry for this dress is “here”:here if you want to hear me ramble on about it.

Love the dress – I’m with you NessyS: what’s with this business with the zip if it’s not necessary. I even had it in a woven dress with a big neckline ( v-neck and not right up to the neck at the back). The dress could be pulled over the head without any problems and yet the pattern specified a 60cm (!?) zipper. Just crazy!!

This is just divine. I love it. I want that dress! Well, I guess I will have to settle for just buying the pattern.
You look lovely. Nice job.

Just checked out your blog. Very sweet!! I have to agree with you – why oh why do the pattern companies insist on putting zips in these knit dresses? Has anyone ever bought a knit dress off the shelf with a zip??? Answer – no! Do they need them? Answer – no! There must be some conspiracy theory to sell zips. Or with tranquilizer companies to sell those for all the stress of popping in an unnecessary zip. Sure – if you need a zip you accept it. But I’m not doing it for nothing!
Sorry – the rant ends here!
