This one was made with a beautiful African print cotton that I bought at a wholesale warehouse. I haven’t sewn myself a skirt in a long time and so I’m quite proud of this one! The pattern is centred on the skirt so that the flowers don’t get lost.
The waistband is quite simple with large pleats in the front and back. Small pockets at the side and a back centre zip. The skirt comes to just above the knee. The original pattern sat more on the hips, but I took it in to be between the hip and waist.
