Description

Lately I’ve been obsessed with pleats! So I made this skirt with box pleats all around and a side zip.
It has two layers, the polka dotted one which was also used to make this top: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/blouse-with-a-bow-and-handmade-buttonholes and the bottom layer is cream coloured fabric, like the waistband.
*The waistband doesn’t fit that well, I made it from a rectangle and that isn’t really the shape of me. If you have any tips or know a tutorial for drafting a fitted waistband, please let me know :)

I love pleats too! For the fitted waistbands some times I make them by tracing fitted waistband from a rtw garment.
