When I saw the cut in the Burda, I was very excited because it is a petite cut and I know it will be a dress of dark blue fabric with small white dots, this has always been a dream. About a year ago there was a similar model from Jersey in which “H&M”.Here I buy far too rare, so I missed it. Well now I was able to sew me a dress.
I like the dress, but the fit so has its pitfalls. I think it’s much too short. If anyone would like to sew, making it longer, unless the one has long, slim legs and is almost 40! It is located at the intersection because I’ve looked at other sewn products and models which all have an asymmetrical length. I like it symmetrical, so I’ve tried to adapt somehow.
I would have liked it dressed for work, but not the length, so it is just a leisure dress.
With the dark blue cottonjacket with ¾ arm and the dark blue suede pumps I liked it very well. As jewelry, I chose a classic, the pearls.
Because it’s a classic so I think I’ll sew it again, but I want to sew it with stretchy jersey fabric and then maybe try to zip to do without.
Has anyone sewn jersey material?
About tips, I am very grateful.
