Description

This Project Runway (Simplicity 1650) inspired dress was simple to sew and wears very well. There are two variations of the peplum design. I chose the pleated version which I am just thrilled with. This is a great “must try” pattern!

Material Notes

Bodice/peplum – cotton blend
Peplum/skirt – linen blend

This looks like something out of a fashion magazine. Lovely. the polka dots with the solid colour and then incorporating both into the peplum… Nice.

Amazing dress, fits perfectly!! I love the two-tone peplum, the pleats and the fabric. Where did you get the fabric?

Thanks pamchar! The polka dot print came from Wal-mart and the red linen blend from my Mom’s stash.
