Now get dressed, accessorize and flaunt your new skirt!
I hope this is helpful. This is my first tutorial so I welcome advice, criticism and and any other comments (including spelling errors)! I would be happy to clarify anything that is unclear. I think those with a little familiarity with sewing garments will benefit most from the tutorial** Thanks!

Do you top stitch or stitch on the wrong side of the fabric on step 4…i understand i think…basically I am sewing in between the lines on every single pleat. Right?

exactly, you are stitching on the wrong side of the fabric a vertical line along the fold. This will secure your pleat. Good Luck and please let me know if there need to be more clarification

This belt is from Old Navy, a few years back. I actually bought a yellow one with brown leather and went back the next day to get the black. They are very versatile, but I don’t wear them often now (esp since skinny belts are so in!)
Thank you btw!!

I may try my hand at this. I’ve got a great fabric in mind but it’s more of a spring-ish print so I may wait a while. great tutorial!

I thought this definitely turned out to be a spring pattern so I bet it would work. (then again it may just be the super short length that rules it out for winter!)

It’s patternless! I love it! Not sure if this would look great on me but I might actually make one. :D
