I SAW A LOVELY BAG IN A MAGAZINE AND MADE MY OWN VERSION. I RECYCLED A DRESS I PURCHASED FOR £2 IN A CHARITY SHOP. I MADE THE BAG FIRST AND THEN HAND SEWED THE PLEATED FLOWERS ON THE FRONT. I HAVE ADDED A PICTURE OF THE DRESS I MADE THE BAG TO MATCH. IT WAS EASY TO MAKE AND I AM PLEASED WITH THE RESULT.

SILVER DRESS, PINK FABRIC FOR LINING, THREAD, IRON FOR PRESSING THE PLEATS.

Love the pleated flowers! There are so many places that those could be implemented. They could look great on a jacket or even dress up a tshirt. DId you use a tutorial to make these?

ooh I’ve seen this bag at topshop! they only had it in leather though and I’ve been meaning to make a more formal version for ages… very nicely done!
