Description

I made this top from a Simplicity pattern, though I made some adjustments. It’s actually a little too small for me, so it will be handed down to my daughter. (It’s going to look great on her!) I think the sleeves are to die for – I will be using the sleeves on this pattern again.

Lovely color, and yes, the sleeves are very cool :) What pattern number was it?

Nice work! Share your opinion that the sleeves ar “to die for”! My great deep respect for everyone who is able to manage to handle panne velvet. I tried it once – don’t know if it was because of the poor quality of the fabric I bought or if it’s in general like that, but after washing the fabric was completely out of shape/grain. And I found it very difficutl to sew since it’s so slippery and gives off fluffs.
