based on the coffee date dress. i loved the pattern, and thought this fabric – being named ‘nightowl espresso’ – just had to be used for it, but realised that the front ruffle would detract from the pattern of the fabric. so instead, i put ruffle caps at the shoulders.
my first project on burdastyle (not my first sewing project though!).
