Play mat made for my little nephew. I made the design, a pattern of squares and rectangles, myself and adjusted the sizes of the different parts to fit the final measurements (120 × 150cm). It is made as a duvet cover to be able to wash it regularly and allow for quick drying.
Suspender clips are used to attach the strings with beads to the mat.
Tip: add seam allowance to the paper pattern pieces before cutting. Than you can put the fabric pieces on top of each other and they will end up the same size after sewing them together, without having to spend a lot of time measuring.
Instructions will follow after digitising the design/ pattern
cotton; ribbon; little bells; wooden rings; wooden beads; suspender clips
