Brooklyn, New Yo...

This is a Built by Wendy – Built by You pattern. I used the mini dress pattern and shortened the length to create a blouse version. I also added a button closure in the back in place of a zipper. I’m really pleased with how it turned out. It’s very fall/winter and a great and comfortable fit. The pattern is very easy. the gathering at the collar was the only trouble spot but i managed.

Material Notes

100% worsted wool

This is beautiful! I love that you used pure wool. Thanks so much for sharing, it’s a really great, expensive-looking top.

Looks really great! Looks like the fabric I just want to make a jacket and a skirt out of.

Bravo! I have that pattern, but I just haven’t found the right fabric/print. Amazing job.
