Plaid Schoolgirl Dress

Added May 29, 2011

by uepsillon

Lucerne, Switzer...

This dress is inspired by the girl on my tin bank!

I based this on the burdastyle pattern “5/2011 Dress with wide pockets”, but made it smaller to fit me (their smallest size is 36…), changed the pleats a bit, shortened the sleeves and skirt, lowered the neckline and added handy, in-seam pockets! With a special holder for my iphone and a keychain attached to the pocket :)

Gorgeous! I might make this for my mother in law, the original version with pockets. I had similar fabric and made a tea set, but i prefer your dress!
