I used the JJ pattern and I lengthened the torso because I’m fairly tall and I liked the tucked in look. I also took it in a little more in the waist and I only used 2 small rows of ruffles, because I am rather curvy. I also tore up one of my old button up blouses and used the collar as a pattern for this blouse, it came out all right. I used black silk for the ruffles and the collar, and black biased tape to cover up where the ruffles connect to the blouse. For the blouse, I used yellow plaid cotton fabric that stretched a little, from Wal-mart’s bargain table lol.
