I made this dress some time ago but never got around to posting it here. This is the first dress pattern I drafted myself. It has princess seams, three-quarterish sleeves and a belt made to match.
You can read more about this dress on my blog, which I only started recently. So feel free to come visit me there!
My reply to requests on pattern posting: I’m very happy that you all like the dress and would like to see a pattern upload but unfortunately I don’t think the pattern would be of any use to anyone else because it fits only my size exactly, which is quite different from the standard sizing. Also I messed up with the sleeves and had to cut them several times to get a good fit. I don’t even know if I have the pattern piece for the sleeve anymore…:( I would feel bad uploading a pattern that other people can’t use properly. But the dress is really only a straight forward princess seam dress. To achieve the same or a similar style you could try these Burda Patterns: 3274, 8351 (styling and fabric choice by Burda is quite hideous on these two :) , or even 7727 (which only seems to be available on the German site). Happy sewing!

It’s a really nice dress, and lucky you to have a local sewing shop offering covering-belt-buckle-service! I envy you…

Thanks for your comment! As for the pattern posting, check in my description of the dress underneath the photo up top. Something was wrong with my reply and it wasn’t accepted in this comment field, so I had to post it there :)
