Kansas City, Mis...
I went thrifting and found a great wool skirt which I used for the outside of the bag, as well as a cutain panel to match for the lining. I used a really great free pattern (you can find it here: http://madebyrae.blogspot.com/) but it ended up way smaller than the pattern pics suggested (maybe the pdf was shrunk, who knows) so I didn’t think the strap the pattern called for would look right. I got creative and came up with this instead. The wrist strap can be removed if I want to use it like a clutch, but if I don’t want to hold it I can just pull out the strap and button it on. It’s a bit odd but I like it!
Red/black plaid wool, burgundy drapery material, black toggle buttons, magnetic snap closure.
