I am making this to give to my son’s teachers as Christmas gifts. I dont know yet. It looks kinda young. My little nieces might get it for Christmas. Its an easy project made with fleece. I made one side of the cape shorter so that it angled over the midsection. Fleece is probably too hot for most winter days here in florida. I thought this cape would be nice as a litlle bit of cover and warmth. The hat made up after watching Martha Stewart on TV make a different hat with fleece. The pom pom is easy and cool

Ah I love this fabric!!and the cape is very cute! I don’t think it’s too young- it depends on the style that your sons teacher is into!bx
