I wanted to make this spring-like jacket warm enough to hold up against the windy city so I added an insulation layer and lined it with fleece. When I started I wasnt sure how big to make it to allow for the extra bulk, but one size up worked out great. I didnt alter anything else and this was the most fun thing (and biggest project) I ever completed, and I’m really happy with it. :)
suit wool, fleece, Insul-Bright(for insulation) interfacing, and lots of buttons
Burda Style for the pattern, Jo-ann’s for the fabric, and my boyfriend’s mother for letting me borrow her sewing machine while mine was in for repairs!

What an awesome job on your jacket! I love the zipper and the fuzzy lining inside. If I had a jacket like that I would wear it all the time! I love the color choices as well. It rocks!
