This jacket was total serendipity! I bought a gorgeous plaid wool from the US for a skirt, but when it arrived it was too thick. I only had 1.5m (not enough for a whole jacket) so I added some ponte knit I had in my stash to make this beauty! There was heaps of hand stitching involved because I used the ponte knit cut into strips for the binding but I just love the result.
