Description

My daughter is having surgery soon and needed some comfy PJ bottoms for afterwards. First time I have tried rib knit for the waistband. Somewhere in translation the numbers messed up and the waist was way too big for her, so I fixed it by adding some elastic in the waistband and it fixed the problem. I have now re-measured her for future projects and think I can avoid this issue next time. She loves them and that is what I was hoping for.

Material Notes

plaid shirting fabric, ribbed knit, elastic

She says they are very comfy. Next time though I will make sure to make the ribbed knit band not as long as i did before and it should not require the extra elastic. Very easy thing to make, try it! Thanks and Happy Sewing!
