i started out to make a backpack and but it turned out i was making a skirt.
deadstock vinyl-y white perforated belt stuff, it’s got a fabric backing. i topstitched them together in long strips with khaki-colored thread. very cool organic-y texture. skirt wraps around and attaches with velcro. you tell me your waist size, i send you the fitting skirt. could be made longer, too, if you want. cute with leggings or jeans or over a dress or something. element.

I love the horizontal stacking of the strips top stitched together, then set off by the diagonal wrap in the front. Especially in white; the white gives it a clean ’60’s “space odyssey” feel that works well with the “earthy city” feel of the rest of your outfit. Does that make any sense? Anyway, it’s a great skirt. . . and I wish those very boots were mine! They’ve been worn into an extraordinary beauty.
