Description

Made for my daughter from a Pink Fig Designs Roxy rag doll pattern, with a few tweaks. Hair left plain, I added a cape and an eye patch and made the skirt slightly differently.

Material Notes

Quilters cotton for the body, felt for hair and boots, and various prints for clothes. 13 buttons! Two skull and crossbones prints donated by a very kind friend. More about Pirate Zoe on my blog here

The details are wonderful, I loved that you made her a cape with lining! What a good eye for patterns and clever use of buttons. This is truly a labor of love. You are such a good mom. :-)

Thank you! I made her for my little girl, after she was teased at school for having a pirate lunchbox. The doll was fun to make, if a little fiddly in places.
