It’s been awhile since I posted my last project on Burdastyle!
Now I’m expecting my 2nd baby, and browsing all cute baby stuff made me want to make some stuff for the upcoming lil one. In fact, some friends looked at my works and they keep asking me to make more of em, both for gifts and for their own lil pirates! :)
As usual, it’s all hand-sewn; and now I’m proudly announce that I work in a smoke-free environment! my 2nd pregnancy made my husband stop smoking :)
At the very first project on these shoes, I didn’t use any lining so the edges look very raw. Then I sorted my daughter’s old shirts – which is now too small and the upcoming baby can’t wear them (the doctor said it’s a boy :)) – so I cut some shirts and make them as linings.
