I seem to have a thing for ruffles at the moment. Made this from the basic Built by Wendy pattern 3835 view C added a pin tuck front and some bias ruffles. I finished it off by adding silk bias around the neckline with a bow at the back.
Sheer cotton, linen blend and silk for the neckline.

Thanks! I wish I could wear high waisted skirts as I think your spot on but I have the shortest waist on the planet :( Never mind the ruffle addiction makes up for it, hehe

Soooo pretty! Yet another reason to love Built by Wendy patterns. I love the pintucked bib-ruffle combo that you added. The bias trim really makes this.

Very nice! I would also like to see the pattern. Check out my ruffle shirt :http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/ruffle-shirt-for-a-little-boy I just discovered the rolled edge seam of my serger, perfect for the edge of ruffles, so I´ll do more of the kind.

Hi, your top is so cute! I think boys deserve glam clothes too :) I have a serger but have not discovered rolled hems…. I am off to look, thanks!

Oh my God! This is absolutely adorable! I am in love with the ruffled (a nd pleated ) bib! And I understand your thing for ruffles. I have been suffering from a ruffle fever for a while now. Makes me think it’s incurable :)
All in all – a wondeful top!
