Seoul, Korea, Re...
I wanted to make a simple dress with this lightweight pinstripe denim that I bought, and I wanted to be able to wear it during the wintertime and not look like a crazy person. So I chose to modify a pattern I have for a loose, crop-sleeved tunic shirt. I made it longer, and since it was a bit boxy added a purchased belt for shape. I also added elastic to the bottoms of the sleeves in an attempt to give it a slightly more interesting shape.
I modified Butterick #3383, view E.
