My daughter wants to be Pinkie Pie from the My Little Ponies for Halloween. So we worked together figuring out how she wanted it to look.
I made this dress using three layers: sheer overlay, satin main fabric, and polyester lining…all in hot pink. The tail is detachable with snaps and the “cutie mark” is just hand stitched on so it can be removed later.
I used the Party Dress pattern from The Cottage Mama.
I think it’s safe to say my daughter loves this dress.
