This coat will be for my niece’s first birthday in October. It’s based on Oliver +S’s School Days Coat pattern. The pattern comes for sizes 6M to 3, so she’ll be getting a birthday coat for the next few years. It was a dream to put together—one of the easiest sewing projects that I’ve ever done. I’m excited for winter to come, so that she can wear it!
The coat is made from a 100% wool coating in a pink/white herringbone print. It’s lined in a cotton polka dot print.

That is really cute. I wonder if I can find a similar pattern in big-people sizes!

It is a cute pattern. I have a feeling that Burda has a duffle coat pattern.
