I’ve been working on this dress for a very, very long time. Too long. Well, I’ve really just been working on the top part. The top is a two part thing. The lining (which you can’t see.) is like a corset type with boning. -I’ve never worked with boning, but it all turned out good. The front part is like a baggy pleated thing. I wanted the top to be strapless, but I wanted it to look lose, and with pleats. Once the top was finally done the skirt just followed. The main pink fabric is a stretchy jersey, something that I’ve been holding onto for something special. Then the skirt has a single layer of tulle. -Another thing that I have never worked with. OH MY! I didn’t use a pattern, it all came from my crazy thoughts. :D My first major project! However is was all be held up with safety pins, because it is a tid bit too big.
I normally make “clothes” for my crazy photo shoot ideas. So with this dress I couldn’t make up my mind what “look” I wanted. Which do you guys like? Thanks.
P.S. The gun and holster is my mom’s (they’re a replica of something special.), I made the little flower crown and the sunglass are vintage polo from my grandma.
