I made this out of a pink shirting with white stripes and a small purple flower print. I made the bodice from Simplicity 4070. If you want to use this pattern, by the way, I found that rather than the standard one-size smaller than the envelope says I was, I was actually two sizes smaller on this pattern – as in, the envelope said I was a 12, I usually cut to a 10, but for this dress an 8 fit.
Anyway, the skirt was self drafted, and I added flower appliques to the sides which I love!
