Description

Yes it’s winter but no I don’t want to wear dark clothes sooo… let’s start 2012 with pink!

This dress is based on Angela Kane’s jersey polo neck dress (thanks for the pattern!). I had to alter it a bit because I found it too “square”. I like my dresses more fitted.

I modified the collar: I added a strip which is long enough to make a bow. I also altered the bottom of the dress: I hadn’t enough fabric to made the dress in on piece so I had to add a 10 cm strip in the bottom. I was really upset at first because I bought 1 m of fabric and finally received only 70 cm. But finally I like the result :)

The pattern had sleeves but I decided not to add them. By doing so, I can wear it alone when it’s warm enough and with a polo neck sweater and leggings when it’s cold.

Thanks for giving me some of the credit. I’m very flattered but I think this great little dress is all credit to you. It looks really nice with the black tights and top. Very cosy yet cool!
