This is my first go at a purse with a snap frame. I’m pretty happy with the result but I’m hoping the next one will turn out even better.

Cute purse! Did you have to press the frame closed or was it a sew in frame? I’ve tried to make some where you had to press the frame closed, but I bent it all up. How did you do it?

I used a sew in frame. I sewed the lining to the inside of the frame first, and then I attatched the exterior to the outside of the frame. It was easier than I thought actually. Since this was my first one ever I haven’t tried the glue/press kind of frame, but I did find a tutorial for those at u-handbag.com that looks fairly easy, but it might be a different story with a larger frame.
