Description

It took almost more time to figure out how to match pink & red than to sew the dress. I decided to add a black trimming et voilà….. a very intense sewing weekend later, I come up with the red&pink&black evening gown. The pattern is a 1957-vintage-pattern from Butterick (B4513). The red silk is from Ikea (otherwise the dress would have ruined me).

Hello Mixtlii, thanks for your lovely comment. Yes indeed, this dress was planned to be a Tango dress. Since I just finished it today, I had no chance to wear it yet. However, next weekend is coming ;-)
