Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this for a friend to wear to a wedding. I didn’t have a pattern, but it came together ok, I draped it first using some old fabric, then made up a paper pattern before cutting it out in the actual fabric.
I also made the bag and shrug

Thanks Atrinka- I would love to do a tutorial- I am thinking of making just the skirt on it’s own for myself, so if I do, I’ll take lots of pictures:)

wow-thanks everyone:) we had bought the hot pink as a remnant, so there was only enough for a skirt, then got the patterned fabric to match. But I think having two fabrics made all the difference.
