After I saw some lovely renditions of the Tara Top made into a dress here on Burda Style, i decided I wanted to attempt one too. Following my measurements I made one in size 42. Unfortunately it still came out way too big on me – even though the fit looks how it must have been intended looking at the model pics.
I gave the dress to my friend Susan this week. She looks lovely in it (as the 3rd picture proofs) – being 5 months pregnant and maybe a size bigger then me.

I completely feel for you, its always hard to gauge wether a high waist is going to be flattering or accentuate that which should not be accentuated >.<!! anyhow I dont think this dress highlights your tummy too much. I love the fabric, it looks very cool and flowy and it really works well with the sleeves.

Thank you, Lhynnan. I do love the fabric and will try to get some more of it.
