I’ve always loved oriental clothes and this is my first oriental dress.
I love the fabric, not just the print but also its quality, and it was an easy dress to sew.

It looks great, you really can’t tell that you didn’t grade it “properly”! Good work.
I’m interested in trying the lekala patterns too, but I can’t find where to download the free fixed size pattern PDFs? Any hints?

Hi, under the dress you want, isn’t something like this: FREE DOWNLOAD Pattern on Size 168-100-82-106 (like a size 44 magazine Burda): – pdf (paper size A4) –
I clicked on "pdf (paper size A4)

Ah, thank you for your reply! It seems like they have begun to upload the fixed size patterns in a larger size now, I’m a Burda size 34/36, so a 44 is out of reach… I hope the larger ladies grab the opportunity though, they have some great styles there!

I used the green oriental dress pattern in here http://leko-mail.net/mod-e.php?t=0&a=1&n=16
I’ve downloaded the pdf file, the fixed pattern one, and because i’m a S/M size just added an inch on each side seam. I guess to grade the pattern would have been the “profissional” choice, but I haven’t reached that level quite yet :)
