Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this dress for my friend for semi-formal. The polyester I used for the ruffle has really cool metallic fibres weaved through it and pairs nicely with the soft pink knit dress.
The photos of the dress hanging are right before final pressings, you can see in the photo of her wearing it that we sprayed the ruffle with stiffening spray and shaped it with a low-heat curling iron so it wouldn’t fall flat. I was really pleased on how this turned out, as I made it without a pattern
