Description

This was my FIRST EVER! try at making any sort of garment from the beginning to end. I have made lots of halloween costumes using patterns, but nothing as detailed at this. I’ve made a new year’s resolution to make at least one piece of clothing per month, and this is my January item! I made it using New Look’s 6145. I shortened it and took it in at the back darts (something I’m regretting as it pulled the fabric away from the invisible zipper…oops.) but overall it was pretty simple to make.

Material Notes

I used a pink Boucle for the main fabric, and a cotton for the collar.

    Thats a fantastic resolution one a month is perfect and you can take your time with each item then. The top is really cute I love the colour!

    It looks lovely. I.m really into collars at the moment and yours is fab. If.you feel the fabric.pulling at the zip either open the dart a bit.(if you can) or reinforce.the zip x
