I got this stretch fabric cheap..it was $3.00 a metre. With cotton the total cost was $7.50 I didn’t know what I was going to make out of it.
I’m continuing on making clothes that will fit me now and after Bubs is born.
So with nursing in mind I decided to do a crossover in the bust. I didn’t use a pattern, well, I just made it up by looking at tops that were similar in style.
I wanted to be able to wear it with leggings so it had to be a little longer normal than a regular top but not too long either. I gathered it a little where my belly is and hopefully as I lose the weight post bubs it will still sit ok..That’s the idea anyhow! I can always alter it I guess! :)

My sister in law would have loved a dress like this! I’ll show it to her (for next time!), wonderful creation!

Thanks. I wish housework and cooking didn’t exist sometimes too! Especially when you really get into something. I’ve tried a few things without a pattern and surprisingly most have turned out ok! Maybe that’s just luck!
