I love full skirts! I made this back in August and somehow didn’t get around to taking pictures until now.
I’m still new to sewing clothes, but my standards and patience grow quite a bit with each garment. This was my second zipper and I hand picked it. It looked great at first but has gotten a bit wonky after a few wears and washes. I should have interfaced it. I also stitched the blind hem by hand – I didn’t know that I was supposed to let the skirt hang and stretch out first, but the hem still seems reasonably even.
I want to make another of these in wool but I have so many other things to sew!

Looks great! Did you use the BurdaStyle Linda pattern for this? I am making a skirt from this pattern right now, I hope my turns out as wells as yours! If you link to the Linda pattern, your project will join the Finished Projects for the Linda skirt pattern, fyi :)

Thanks! Yes, I used the Burdastyle pattern. Mine is just much shorter and has a wider waistband. I thought I had linked to the pattern when I first posted… I’m not sure what went wrong.
