Description

I made this dress for my 16 year old daughter Evelyn. I used 2 yards of soft cotton print and about 25 yards of elastic thread.

I would recommend to use only soft lightweight fabrics. In the instructions for this pattern you have to tear lower edges of flounce pieces, then topstitch each flounce above lower edge, to prevent further fraying. I followed the instructions and I loved the result! Row edges add character to the garment, and I topstitched with contrast lime thread to emphasize it. Eve loved it :)

She liked it :) I think I want to make a top variation of this pattern for myself.
