This dress was such a fun project for both Katya and I. Some months ago I had casually suggested I sew us our grad dresses and she sure didn’t let me forget!! =D
The whole construction of it was a 3 week long process involving many fittings and design changes. She insisted on her dress having 4 things: black lace, a bow, ribbon and pink silk. Although I initially wasn’t keen on mixing the first two, I think it turned out quite cute in the end (i made the bow detachable though… because i like having options)
She got complimented all night, especially from the boys :P
