Pink Harem Knit Pants

Portland, Oregon...

I love these pants. I have been eying all the dropped crotch patterns for over a year now. They haven’t quite made it to the pacific northwest it seems, but have already been popular last summer in Europe. Funnily enough it’s almost the same color then the original one. I have been wearing these pants to yoga and workout and they are so comfy. I did a couple of changes because the original pant is made in a woven: I omitted the side ties and just used a wide fold-over waistband. Everything else is the same. I was so inspired by the pants, that I made L. one in a smaller version. Blogged here with a free download able pattern for little girls (or boys!)

You’re right, here in Europe these style of pants are a great hit! I like the comfyness of them, but I feel a bit awkward wearing them in public altough there’re so popular. I like your version in this bold color.

I agree! Nothing seems to be more comfortable than this kind of pant, yet it is still an awkward style here in the south (which isn’t going to stop me). Yours are lovely and that color is so fun!

I’m not a harem pants fan (well not on me anyway, hehe) but your version has turned out really nice, look great with the heels, love the colour, in fact the whole outfit is super cute, nice work :)
