Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This pattern was relatively straight forward, however, there were some issues that I had with it:
- Lack of the explanation of piece 6 (turns out to be the lapels for a variation) and the fact they never mentioned what mod made the jacket the short length.
- The pieces also did NOT include the marking for back piece pleat lining… which I forgot to put in. However, they did mention the pleats in the directions.
- When putting in the lining I disregarded the directions all together and went with a typical bagging technique: http://www.threadsmagazine.com/item/4366/bag-your-jacket-lining because I found the directions kind of tireless.
I forgot to fuse my interfacing but I think the blazer came out fine anyway! :)
Material Notes
Pink polyester gabardine that was more like a medium weight polyester.

Very cute! It’s a shame that the instructions are not always right with Burda patterns, we have to use our imagination, I had problems with some patterns too.
