I actually made this dress already few years ago for my brother’s wedding. But since this is one of my all time favorite dresses I decided to post it here even if it’s not a ‘new’ project.
To be honest I don’t remember anymore which pattern this dress is based on. I believe the small bolero was some old Burda pattern but the dress… No idea :) Nevertheless, I love this classic silhouette. There is a lot of tulle under the skirt part which makes it so full and a bit 50s style.
The dress looks lovely also without the bolero. On my graduation from university I actually wore this dress with a white jacket, which worked nicely as well.
In the black and white picture you can see me going to the wedding reception. What a lovely day it was!
