I used the pattern Danielle for this. I made a front button-opening instead of the back zipper, and put the long sleeves. I planned the sleeves a bit shorter than normal length, and more fitted around the shoulders than the original. At first I put the tucks and the wristbands on the cuff, but it looked completely boring. I took the wristbands away and tried blah-blah-blah for a while, and ended up with the gathered cuffs with elastic bands. I don’t like the elastic-band-finishing in most cases, but I like it on this dress.
I am wearing a pair of white fake fur wrist warmers in the photo.

Oh wow, I like your version of Danielle, really sweet. But I don’t really like the sleeves end part, I just don’t know why…? (Not the wrist warmer), Hmm…I think maybe the length of the sleeves should be longer. I think. I’m not the expert in fashion but who cares, your creations are brilliant!!

what does is look like on the inside? did you insert lining? this can totally function as a coat if one changes the neck line and uses a larger size. i love it! oh and the color is amazing!

Looks great and such a good idea with the button closure at the front.

Oh! So cute! I like that version, and the empire waistline is a perfect match for your fabric. Really lovely.

I thought the wrist warmers were part of the sleeves. I like this dress more with the long sleeves. Very nice.

Cute! I love this. This is a color such as the strawberry shake. Wrist warmers are very lovely.
