Burda Style For people who sew
Description
When Burda Style team asked me to collaborate on the book, I was so excited. I ended up sewing a blouse, but I was asked to make several sketches for a coat too.
I thought of a classic coat with an oversized shawl collar and heavy topstitching. The idea was stuck in my brain for more than a year and I finally decided to materialize it. I didn’t use the pattern from the book. Instead, I used a tried and trued pattern from the Burda Style magazine, in order to make the job easier. I drafted the collar myself.
